Red Bull and Max Verstappen maintained their impressive form through the 2023 season, securing pole position at Brazilain Grand Prix qualifying at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace Circuit.

Verstappen was in time to set his Q3 lap time just before the rain could interrupt the session, outpacing Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Aston Martin's Lance Stroll, earning his 11th pole position of the season and the first since the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka, as reported by BBC.

In contrast, Verstappen's teammate, Sergio Perez, faced a different scenario in the final session of qualifying due to the rainy conditions. The Mexican driver was in ninth place on the leaderboard before the race was red-flagged.

Nevertheless, Perez had demonstrated promising lap times throughout the weekend prior to the inclement weather. Known for his incredible race pace, the Mexican is determined to make a strong comeback and secure a podium finish on race day.

The final starting grid for the race, according to Formula 1, is as follows:

1. Max Verstappen

2. Charles Leclerc

3. Lance Stroll

4. Fernando Alonso

5. Lewis Hamilton

6. George Russell

7. Lando Norris

8. Carlos Sainz

9. Sergio Perez

10. Oscar Piastri

Lance Stroll's third-place position offers a glimmer of hope in what has been a challenging season for him. Whether he can convert his second-row start into a podium finish on race day remains to be seen.
