Paris Saint-Germain superstar forward, Kylian Mbappe has appeared in a surprise collaboration with seven-time Formula 1 champion, Lewis Hamilton.
The two sporting superstars recently participated in the ‘Never Still’ campaign, championed by German luxury luggage company Rimowa.
As reported by Express UK, the German brand ‘Never Still’ advertisement series highlights the impact and importance of travel to elite-level athletes and celebrities worldwide, with the Rimowa brand selling classy and stylish luggage for the luxury market.
Both athletes spoke about their passion for travelling and highlighted the need for the luxury bag.
Mbappe, Hamilton speak about travelling
In Hamilton’s segment of the advert campaign, the Mercedes driver said, as quoted by Lifestyle Asia:
“I have spent my entire career travelling the world, and those experiences have shaped who I am, both as a racer and as a person.”
Mbappe’s segment of the campaign, on the other hand, had the French captain say:
“When you travel, you see different types of life, and you learn a lot. I met amazing people I never thought I would meet in my life.”
The Rimowa luxury collection also featured K-Pop icon Rose alongside renowned composer Hans Zimmer.
Mbappe, Hamilton in contract debacle
Coincidentally, both Mbappe and Hamilton were involved in long contract debacles during the summer in their respective sports.
While Hamilton eventually resolved to pen a two-year deal at German motorsport team Mercedes AMG, the immediate future of Mbappe remains an episode in waiting.
