Shakira made an intriguing return to Barcelona as she was spotted at the Circuit de Barcelona during the Spanish Grand Prix on June 4.
The pop singer used to live in the city before relocating to Miami, following her widely-publicised break up with retired Barcelona defender, Gerard Pique.
Her attendance at the Spanish GP added more fuel to the rumours that she and Lewis Hamilton might be dating.
The pair sparked romance rumours after they enjoyed dinner and a boat ride together after the Miami Grand Prix on May 7, as reported by Sports Brief.
The duo has steered clear of addressing the rumours, despite Hamilton holding out his hand in a gentlemanly way to help Shakira get on board during the boat ride.
Shakira at Barcelona Grand Prix
The Colombian star's presence at the Barcelona Grand Prix appears to have worked wonders for Hamilton as the British driver finished in second place, his second podium finish this season.
Reigning champion, Max Verstappen led from start to finish to win yet another dominant race from Red Bull.
Hamilton's teammate, George Russell fended off a late charge from Sergio Perez to finish in P3, while Hamilton survived a first-lap clash with Lando Norris and a challenge from Ferrari's Carlos Sainz in what was an improved performance from Mercedes.
Shakira was spotted taking in the race with her friends as the 66-lap contest in Catalunya ensued.
It will be interesting to see if the Whenever, Wherever hitmaker will link up with the record Formula 1 champion before the Canadian Grand Prix on June 18.
