Record Formula 1 champion, Lewis Hamilton was among the top celebrities who attended the Game Six of the NBA playoffs between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors on May 13.

Hamilton is still in the United States after competing in the Miami Grand Prix the other weekend, where he finished in sixth place.

He was spotted at the Crypto Arena alongside famous actor, Leonardo DiCaprio. As Daily Express reports, American socialite, Kim Kardashian was also among the fans, but it is not understood if she met the racer in person.

Hamilton and DiCaprio sat side-by-side, and appeared to converse once in a while, as they watched arguably two of the best players of this generation - LeBron James and Steph Curry - go neck-and-neck.

Curry's Warriors needed to win to force game seven, but failed to pull it off, with the Lakers coming away with a 122-101 win.

James bagged 30 points, 9 assists, and 9 rebounds; while Curry got 32 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.

The Lakers will now face the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference finals. The winner will play whoever triumphs between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat in the NBA finals.

Hamilton, meanwhile, will turn his attention to the Italian Grand Prix this weekend, before heading to Monaco and Spain in subsequent weeks.

Hamilton hangs out with Shakira

Hamilton's appearance at the NBA game comes after he was spotted enjoying a cozy time with Shakira, as the two joined a group of friends on a yacht ride in Miami.

The Colombian pop star has been in the headlines since May last year, after her much-publicised and acrimonious split from retired Barcelona legend, Gerard Pique.

As Sports Brief reported, it is not understood if Hamilton and Shakira knew each other previously but they have now met twice, including a dinner date in the city.
