Lewis Hamilton was spotted enjoying a cosy time with Shakira, as the two joined a group of friends on a yacht ride in Miami.

Shakira has been in the headlines since May last year, after her much-publicised split from retired Barcelona legend, Gerard Pique. The split was acrimonious, with the two still throwing shade at each other once in a while.

It is not understood if Hamilton and Shakira knew each other before their encounter in Miami, but they have now met twice. The two first had a dinner date at the lucrative Cipriani restaurant, as reported by the Sun.

The Waka Waka hitmaker now resides in Miami after leaving Spain, and there have been plenty of rumours about her love life.

The 46-year-old was spotted with famous actor, Tom Cruise at the Miami Grand Prix. However, Marca reports that a source close to the singer confirmed she has no interest in dating him.

Hamilton was in Miami over the weekend, where he finished sixth in the Grand Prix. It has been another difficult season for the Mercedes driver, with Red Bull proving to be superior on many fronts.

As it stands, Max Verstappen is on course for a third consecutive world title. The Red Bull driver leads the drivers' standings with 119 points.

From the videos taken by the celebrities there, fans believe the racer's rumoured partner is Juliana Nalu - a supermodel who has previously dated hip-hop star, Kanye West.
