Proteas look comfortable at lunch on day three against India

Despite losing the early wicket of captain Dean Elgar, South Africa look relatively comfortable as they head into lunch on day three. The Proteas are 21-1 and trail by 306 runs.

Keegan Petersen is on 11 not out while Aiden Markram is 9 not out.

Proteas' rain dance saves them from rampant India as Mzansi sighs in relief

After the Indian onslaught on day one, Sports Brief reported that the rain continued to pour as it stopped play on Day Two of the second Test match between South African and India at SuperSport Park in Centurion.

Not a single ball was bowled as the rampant Indians looked to pile on the runs against a beleaguered Proteas attack. India had finished on a worrying 272/3 at the close of play yesterday, with KL Rahul ominously poised on 122 runs not out.

Lungi Ngidi was the pick of the South Africans bowlers, claiming all of the visitor's bowlers for 45 runs off 17 overs. India had won the coin toss and chose to bat first.
