Anthony Joshua’s next fight will not be against either long-term rival Tyson Fury or Oleksandr Usyk as he prepares to enter the ring for the second time later this year.
After defeating legendary UFC fighter Francis Ngannou in an exhibition match in Saudi Arabia in March, the British boxer was touted to take on either Fury or Usyk next.
According to Punch NG, British boxer Derek Chisora has now claimed Joshua is set to headline his boxing event later this year at Wembley and will battle the winner of Daniel Dubois and Filip Hrgovic’s bout.
“He will fight the winner of Daniel Dubois and [Filip] Hrgovic in Wembley. I’ve got a big mouth. That’s the plan. It’s gonna be a sick, a little adventure for Turki Alalshikh to bring it back to London.”

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn believes that if Fury defeats Usyk next month, a bout against Joshua will be scheduled instead of a rematch with the Ukrainian.
Joshua could get a title fight soon
Meanwhile, Joshua could be in line for a title fight soon as the British boxer is currently ranked as No.3 in the IBF rankings with the No.2 spot unoccupied, Talk Sport reports.
The 34-year-old two-time heavyweight champion could be drafted in as the next opponent to take on the winner between the Fury and Usyk fight when it finally happens later in May.
The IBF has already confirmed that they will strip the winner of the undisputed fight between Fury and Usyk should they proceed with a second fight.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that two-time heavyweight champion Joshua has returned to training ahead of his possible fight with the winner of the Fury vs Usyk showdown.
The Nigerian-British boxer was spotted with coach Ben Davidson, who is also a former boxing champion.
Joshua posted a picture of himself on the pads at Davison's Harlow gym. His sparring partner Jeamie Tshikeva predicted that AJ will become a world champion for the third time.
