FootballMMA Pundit Discloses Why Joshua’s Physical Condition Is Not the Only Factor He Needs Against Ngannou

- The British-Nigerian heavyweight boxer is rated as the favourite to win the fight
- MMA pundit explains why Joshua's physical shape is not enough against Ngannou
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) pundit, Afolabi Ojabowale, has shared his thoughts on Anthony Joshua's physical condition ahead of his bout against Francis Ngannou this weekend.
Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, claimed the British-Nigerian boxer is in good shape ahead of his fight against the former UFC heavyweight champion, but the Nigerian combat sports expert believes it is not the only fact he needs on Friday, March 8.
Ojabowale, in an exclusive chat with Sports Brief, admitted that Joshua's physical shape will play a massive role in his performance against Ngannou, but it is not the sole determinant.
"AJ's physical condition plays a huge role in his performance in any fight, including against Ngannou," he said.

"He was in great shape in his last fight against Wallin and this showed in his speed, power, and how he was able to execute his game plan.
"However, while being in good physical condition is great, it is not the sole determinant of the outcome of a fight."
Ojabowale went further to list other factors that could determine or influence the result of the bout between Joshua and Ngannou in Saudi Arabia.
"Other factors, such as strategy, skill level, mental preparation, and adaptability during the fight, also influence the result," he added.
"So while Joshua's shape is important and can certainly give him an advantage, it's just one piece of the puzzle in determining who wins the battle with Ngannou, who is also in great shape."

FootballJoshua speaks on Fury, Wilder
Sports Brief earlier reported on Joshua opening up on why he is yet to face Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder, two of the top heavyweight boxers.
The British-Nigerian boxer has now come out to defend his boxing record, disclosing that he has in the past signed contracts that would see him fight both Wilder and Fury.
However, none of the planned fights has materialised, with Joshua citing reasons beyond his control.
