The result shocked many fans and pundits, especially since Ngannou knocked down the British boxer in the third round in the 10-round non-title bout.

According to Sky Sports, Fury walked away with the victory with 96-93 and 95-94 on two of the judges' cards, while the other judge gave Ngannou 95-94.

Fury is the WBC champion and was close to losing the first fight of his career. Fury acknowledged that Ngannou gave him a run for his money.

"That definitely wasn't in the script," he said. "He's given me probably one of my toughest fights in the last 10 years," Fury continued. "Francis is a hell of a fighter, strong, big puncher, and a lot better boxer than we all thought he would be."

Ngannou gained a lot of respect not only from The Undertaker but also from a star-studded arena.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Rio Fer4dinand, Ronaldo Nazario, and Luis Figo were some of the big names in attendance.

After the fight, retired WWE legend Undertaker showered the former UFC heavyweight champion with praise.

"I thought it was a close fight, it could've went either way. I thought Francis really represented himself well and earned everybody's respect. He's a heck of a fighter; I don't think anybody thought the fight would go 10 rounds, I didn't. It was close," via TNT Sports.

Ngannou wants a rematch with Fury.

"We can run it back again and I'm sure I'm going to get better."

Ronaldo restless during Ngannou vs Fury fight

Sports Brief reported on Cristiano Ronaldo's reaction during the fight as he appeared restless while watching the highly intense and entertaining boxing bout.

The Al-Nassr superstar was one of the celebrities in attendance. He was asked to back someone before the fight, but he just wanted to enjoy a good fight as both were his friends.
