Daniel Cormier is not impressed with Tyson Fury's latest decision.

The former UFC dual champion has hit out The Gypsy King for the disrespect shown towards Francis Ngannou, and hopes the Cameroonian star teaches him a lesson.

As noted by ESPN, Fury agreed to fight the former UFC Heavyweight champion at the end of October, a decision many criticised.

He then agreed on a deal to fight Oleksandr Usyk in a heavyweight title unification bout, which is scheduled to take place less than two months after his bout with Ngannou.

Cormier, who once held the UFC's Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight titles at the same time, has hit out at Fury for seemingly overlooking The Predator as a threat.

As noted by Bloody Elbow, Cormier labelled the decision as disrespectful.

"It is the most disrespectful thing Tyson Fury could do. It is so disrespectful. Tyson Fury knows. It’s kind of crazy, bro, because I hope Francis knocks his head off," he said.

Cormier added that he liked the WBC Heavyweight champion, and his personality, but couldn't believe that he would schedule another fight so soon after the Ngannou bout, essentially saying that he would be fit to fight Ukraine's Usyk so soon after.

While Fury is favourite to win the fight against Ngannou, the Cameroonian has promised to hurt the undefeated boxer during his debut bout.

Francis Ngannou promises to hurt Tyson Fury

Meanwhile, as Sports Brief reported, Francis Ngannou has sent a serious warning to Tyson Fury ahead of their upcoming fight.

The former UFC champion will take on the WBC heavyweight champion in a blockbuster boxing bout on October 28 in Saudi Arabia.

While the fight may be Ngannou’s debut in the boxing world, the Predator is nonetheless confident he can beat The Gypsy King.
