With Fury bringing in UFC heavyweight, Tom Aspinall, as a training partner for the bout, Ngannou has brought in a former boxing heavyweight champ to help train him.

As noted by talkSPORT, Ngannou has brought in Mike Tyson to help train him for the fight. Ironically, Fury was named after the legendary boxer.

According to Martial Bot, Iron Mike has fought in 58 professional bouts, winning 50 of them. He only lost six times and 44 of his 50 wins came by knockout.

Tyson’s thoughts on Ngannou’s chances

Iron Mike also weighed in on Ngannou’s chances against Fury, describing how excited he was to work with the Cameroonian fighter.

"He has one hard punch, and when it lands, it’s game over. I am looking forward to working with Ngannou and supporting his transition from the octagon to the boxing ring. He isn’t a combat novice, he is a world champion," he said.
"He knows how to compete when the bell rings, but the key will be combining his energy and combat skills into his punches and using his agility to move swiftly around the ring then delivering the knock-out blow," Tyson added.

The news will come as a bit of a shock to The Gypsy King, as he hoped Tyson would be involved in the bout in another manner.

As noted by Give Me Sport, Fury wanted Iron Mike to serve as the referee for the blockbuster fight.

Fury to train with Aspinall

Sports Brief also reported on Fury bringing in the big guns for his bout against Cameroonian fighter, Ngannou.

The WBC Heavyweight Champion will take on the ex-UFC Heavyweight Champion on October 29 in Saudi Arabia.

Fury looks to better his chances by bringing in Aspinall to help him prepare for the battle against the heavyweight.
