Filip Hrgovic, who is reported by Sky Sports to be next in line to challenge Usyk for the IBF world title, has also expressed outrage at the blockbuster bout between the Gypsy King and the Cameroonian.

Hrgovic on Fury, Ngannou fight

The 31-year-old Croatian fighter spoke to Wasserman Boxing, claiming the division was waiting for the Gypsy King.

"It’s an easy, easy job for big money. It’s good for both fighters and I have nothing against these kind of fights.
But, in this situation where we’re waiting for the next undisputed champion and where he’s stopping the whole division, I don’t think it’s a good move for him. I think it’s disrespectful to boxing fans and to the [sport.]"
Hrgovic believes Fury should instead pursue a title unification bout, following which he could pursue exhibition fights as a winner or if he retires.
"In this moment, it’s disrespectful and stupid in this situation. We’re all waiting for the undisputed champion. He should box his mandatory of a unification."

The Croatian, like many other fans and fighters, expects Fury and Usyk to reach an agreement over a unification bout in the heavyweight division.
