Boxing fans who recently visited Sandton City in Johannesburg have that unique bragging right after spotting undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather.
Money Mayweather is currently in the country as part of his Motherland Tour.
As noted by The South African, the Motherland Tour aims to raise funds for South African youth in boxing through Mayweather’s Youth Empowerment Programme.
As part of the tour, Mayweather spent some time in Zimbabwe before arriving in South Africa, where he hosted a banquet dinner at the Sandton Convention Centre.
South African boxing legends like Dingaan Thobela, Brian Mitchell, Cassius Baloyi, Phillip Ndou and Baby Jake Matlala were all in attendance.
While in the country, Mayweather is also enjoying some retail therapy and was recently spotted at Sandton City. Stunned fans were quick to grab their phones as the superstar was through with his entourage.

Zimbabweans unimpressed with Mayweather’s visit
Floyd Mayweather’s visit to Zimbabwe has been greeted with mixed feelings among the locals as some are enraged about the money spent to host the boxing icon.
Zimbabwe’s President, Emmerson Mnangagwa's closest ally, gold magnate Scott Sakupwanya, who wants to reclaim a parliamentary seat from the opposition, said he had invited Mayweather.
On Thursday, Mayweather attended a political campaign event, part of the Zimbabwean ruling party's attempts to woo youth voters ahead of a general election next month, Sports Brief reported.
