Ghana woke up to a new boxing sensation after fighter Seth Gyimah, known in the ring as Freezy MacBones stunned veteran Darryl Sharp at the Copper Box Arena in London on Sunday.
Gyimah (33) was only making his second professional appearance in the light heavyweight division when he dominated and outfought his opponent.
His exploits have seen Ghanaians send goodwill messages to the boxer, who is just starting his career after moving to the United Kingdom a few years ago.
Gyimah spent most of his life in Ghana, where he was born and raised but left for the United Kingdom in 2012 to seek greener pastures.

It turned out Gyimah, who was a mason in Ghana, had dreams of becoming a boxer, but the environment in Ghana did not afford him the opportunity, leaving him desperate for new surroundings.
Through hard-work and determination, Gyimah started working his way to becoming a pugilist at the age of 27. Six years down the line, he has two wins in two fights.

"Life is so funny I still remember when I came to London for the first time. I was stranded, couldn’t speak good English. A whole lot happened, and I ended up sleeping outside.
"At the age of 27 I made my mind up to do something I have never done before. a lot of criticism and people around me did not believe in me. All they kept saying is that. it's too late for me to do it.

Richard Commey gets advise from Clottey
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian boxer, Richard Oblitey Commey has been advised by former IBF Welterweight Champion, Joshua Clottey to switch his attention on making money in the sport.
36-year-old Commey lost his latest fight to Jose Ramirez in the United States and has now gone three fights without victory.
His last bout against Ramirez reportedly fetched him $500,000 plus a 65% money in Pay Per View sales.
