Ghanaian boxer, Richard Oblitey Commey has been advised by former IBF Welterweight Champion, Joshua Clottey to switch his attention on making money in the sport.
36-year-old Commey lost his latest fight to Jose Ramirez in the United States and has now gone three fights without victory.
His last bout against Ramirez reportedly fetched him $500,000 plus a 65% money in Pay Per View sales.
The former lightweight champion is yet to consider retirement as he works his way back to the apex of his division.

However, Clottey - who enjoyed a good boxing career - has told Commey to choose money over any titlestitles.
"My word of advice to Commey is that boxing is about how to enjoy your career; you’re going to enjoy whatever you worked for," Clottey told Joy Sports, as quoted by Pulse.
"So I’ll advise him to focus on making money so that when he retires, he can be comfortable."
Commey lost to Vasiliy Lomachenko in December 2021 before a draw against Jose Pedraza in August 2022.

Canadian-born Ghanaian, Laeticia Amihere will join Atlanta Dream following the Women's National Basketball Association draft.
The 21-year-old was the eighth overall pick and became the first Ghanaian female basketball player to be drafted into the WNBA.
Although her parents are from the west African country, Amihere represents Canada on the national female basketball team.
