Tyson Fury sparks intense rivalry
Paul and Fury really don't like each other but ironically, their rivalry started because of WBC Heavyweight Champion, Tyson Fury.
TalkSport noted that Tyson, the half-brother of Tommy, started the rivalry when he called out Paul.
After one of Tommy's fights in 2021, The Gypsy King shared a picture of the viewing numbers for the bout and captioned it: "@jakepaul where you at?"
Paul took offence to the post, believing that Tommy asked his brother to do his dirty work because he was too afraid to do so himself.
Paul makes it personal
As tensions grew between the pair, Paul made it personal when he claimed that Fury's partner, Molly-Mae Hague had sent him a DM in 2018 saying she wanted to meet him in America because she was a fan.
Hague was able to prove that Paul's screenshot was fake but that didn't stop Fury from wanting to beat up Paul.

NBABackstage brawl and first fight
The two boxers almost got their hands on each other when both their camps were involved in a confrontation backstage at a card they both featured on.
They then were finally due to get their hands on each other in the ring in December 2021, but Fury pulled out due to injury.
This further fueled the rivalry as Paul believed Fury was just dodging him.
A second fight cancelled
The duo were then scheduled to face off in August 2022, but VISA issues prevented Fury from getting into the USA.
The bout was called off again and tensions between the two further rose.
Paul takes it even further
If Fury and Paul didn't like each other before, The Problem Child's latest actions definitely escalated the war between them.
Fury and his partner welcomed their first baby in January 2023, but before they could make an official announcement, Paul made mention of the birth on his Twitter timeline.

NBAHe also claimed the baby was born just in time to watch her father get knocked out.
Tommy Fury's record
Fury has competed in eight fights thus far, winning all of them. Four of his wins came by knockout, DAZN reported.
Fury has not faced anyone notable in the boxing world and will be looking to cement his name as a legitimate boxer.
Jake Paul's record
The YouTuber turned boxer has also recorded four knockouts in his career. Fury is undefeated in six fights and has earned a reputation for taking on MMA athletes in boxing matches.
What a win could mean
The half-brother of a world champion, Fury has not made a mark on the boxing world but wants to be considered a serious boxer. A win against Paul could go a long way to achieving that.
A win for Paul will see him being considered a legitimate boxer. He will also receive an official ranking from the WBC if he wins. There is also a belt up for grabs.

FootballAnthony Taylor shares his verdict
MMA star, Anthony Taylor has backed Paul to win the fight and dominate Fury. Taylor was Paul's sparring partner in 2021 and fought Fury in the same year, and therefore knows how both men fight, SportBible reported.
“Jake is just going to outbox Tommy. He’s just a far better boxer. Jake is more flexible and more fluid than Tommy, he’s got a higher ring IQ," he said.
Paul knocks out Woodley
Paul, just like his elder brother, Logan is making waves in boxing after securing a devastating knockout win against ex-UFC welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley.
Paul landed a stunning one-punch knockout to drop Woodley to the canvas and end their rematch inside six rounds on Saturday night, December 18, in Florida.
Paul was initially slated to fight former Love Island star, Tommy Fury but the Briton pulled out of the bout after picking up a chest infection, Sports Brief reported.
