British and Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua has stated emphatically that money is his major motivation for fighting in the ring ahead of his big battle against Jermaine Franklin.
Six months after being beaten for the second time by Oleksandr Usyk, Joshua eventually appeared publicly as he spoke to the press ahead of his next duel in April.
Joshua and Franklin both attended the press conference in London on Thursday evening, 9 February, where the 33-year-old confirmed his readiness for the encounter.
Since his second loss against Usyk, Joshua had been at his Texas home before he flew to London to attend the press conference.

According to a video spotted on Facebook, the former world champion explained that he is preparing well to return to winning ways in his next fight.
Statement made by Joshua
''I love making lots of money and it is straight up because I have been broke and my family too have been broke and this is a prize fight.
''I have been hustling hard and I know that when the so said and done, no one cares about me no more, so I have to make most when I'm here.''
When is the fight?
Joshua and Franklin will go head-to-head at The O2 arena in London on the 1st of April in what is expected to be an interesting fight.
