Canelo is now a Messi fan
Lionel Messi produced an incredible assist in his side's 3-0 defeat of Croatia on Tuesday evening.
While it was Julian Alvarez that got on the score sheet for Argentina's third, the goal was largely down to the brilliance of Messi.
The 35-year-old picked up the ball just past the half-way line and took on Josko Gvardiol, one of the best young defenders in world football.
The Argentine phenomenon made his way into the box, got to the byline after turning Gvardiol, and then pulled the ball back to Alvarez who could not miss.
