"I spoke to Wayne and he's well up for it," Fury said, via ITV.
"We're going to bring Wayne in for preparation for Oleksandr Usyk. No [it's not a joke], very serious. He's going to come into camp for about four weeks to help me."

Why Rooney?

Rooney is widely known for his love of boxing. The England and Manchester United record goal scorer was one of 60,000 fans for the Fury's trilogy fight against Chisora on December 3.

According to Marca, the 37-year-old once trained in the sport from a very young age, although he has only ever been an amateur in the gym. In 2015, a controversial video went viral that showed Rooney and his friends sparring in his Manchester home.

The clipped sparked a now iconic celebration but it looks as though he will be doing it for real as Fury wants to spar him after the turn of the year before his fight with Usyk.

Fury vs Usyk hits a snag

Meanwhile, Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk's proposed fight to unify boxing's heavyweight titles has hit a new roadblock.

Fury, the WBC champion and Usyk, the WBA Super Champion, are on a collision course to crown one title holder. Usyk also holds the WBO and IBF belts.

As reported by Sky Sports, the WBA have now ordered Usyk to defend his WBA Super title against Daniel Dubois. Dubois currently holds the WBA's Regular championship.

Fury slams Usyk

Tyson Fury doesn't hold back his punches and doesn't mince his words.

The WBC Heavyweight champion defended his title against Derek Chisora and immediately called out his next opponent, Sports Brief reported.

Fury is expected to fight Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk in a title unification bout next year. Usyk holds the WBA, WBO and IBF titles and was in attendance for Fury's defence against Chisora.
