- The deal could not be finalised as the Gypsy King will now defend his belts against Derek Chisora on December 3
- Eddie Hearn, who is AJ's promoter, has disclosed that the 33-year-old is beginning to lose his cool
Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has disclosed that it seems Anthony Joshua is losing faith following his loss to Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk.
There had been plans to get the Briton back into the ring as Tyson Fury publicly set deadlines for a fight between them to happen by December.
All efforts to get Joshua to sign the contract stalled as the deal was never finalised, and Fury will now go on to defend his title against Derek Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on December 3.
According to Hearn, the inability to seal a bout with the Gypsy King has affected the 33-year-old, and now AJ will have to wait until next year.

Hearn told Boxing Social:
“He just sort of lost faith a little bit with boxing because he really wanted to fight Tyson Fury.
“That’s the main reason that he didn’t fight this year. It messed up his mojo. You know, he [Fury] got his bluff called really, we feel. What are these people doing?
“They say they want to fight me, now I’ve got a deadline, Chisora gets another month to do the deal, and I had to sign it then.
“So, that’s why you’re going to see him (Joshua) fight maybe the end of February, but probably March.”
Hearn insists that Joshua is willing to take on anyone as he looks at his options for his next fight.

Joshua lost all his titles to Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk as he was also defeated in their rematch, taking him away from the title picture.
A potential rematch with Dillian Whyte is now on the cards, with AJ KO'ing Whyte in a grudge bout back in 2015.
