Two months after losing to Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia, Nigerian and British boxer Anthony Joshua is reportedly eyeing a return to boxing in early 2023.
Joshua was tipped to beat Usyk in their rematch in Jeddah in August, but the 33-year-old disappointed his fans as he lost for the second time to the Ukrainian.
After his second defeat against Usyk, there were talks about Joshua facing world champion Tyson Fury, but the proposed fight talks seem to have collapsed.
There are reports that the two parties failed to agree on a date for the fight.

According to the latest report on Boxing Scene, Joshua wants to fight next year February or March, and the Nigerian star has started training in Loughborough under Angel Fernandez.
Who will Joshua likely face?
American boxer Deontay Wilder is ready to face Joshua, in a boxing duel the 36-year-old wants in Africa.
Speaking to Sports Brief on Joshua's next opponent, former Nigerian boxing champion, Busari Ishola explained that he would love for Anthony to face Fury.
"Anthony Joshua always reminds me of my days in boxing, and I will love to see him go head to head with Tyson Fury. However, Joshua is a good fighter and I am positive that he will triumph over any opponent in his next fight."

Last weekend, Wilder returned to action as he knocked out Robert Helenius inside three minutes in New York.
Joshua has been informed that the Bronze Bomber is desperately interested in the bout and wants it to happen next year.
Before Wilder returned to the ring, his manager Sheldon 'Shelly' Finkel got an invite from Eddie Hearn, Anthony Joshua’s promoter.
