British boxer Anthony Joshua will likely face off with Deontay Wilder in a mega fight, scheduled for the 80,000-capacity Wembley Stadium next year.
Over the weekend, Wilder returned to action as he knocked out Robert Helenius inside three minutes in New York.
Joshua has been informed that the Bronze Bomber is desperately interested in the bout and wants it to happen next year.
Before Wilder returned to the ring, his manager Sheldon 'Shelly' Finkel got an invite from Eddie Hearn, Anthony Joshua’s promoter.

FootballIt was gathered that Finkel had to ensure that Wilder returned to the ring after a year, prior to any form of negotiation about a possible bout with AJ.
Finkel told SunSport:
“I was asked that if they offered the right deal, would we do the fight in the UK? Of course. Financially, it could be Saudi Arabia or another country, but it really comes down to them. I believe the fight between Deontay and Joshua will do 80,000 at Wembley.”
Joshua - 33 and Wilder - 36 failed to agree terms throughout 2018 and 2019, when the pair were unbeaten and holding all four titles.
Meanwhile, following the collapse in negotiations for the potential fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, the Gypsy King has claimed his fellow Briton 'lacked balls', Sports Brief has reported.
Fury had called out Joshua, who lost back-to-back to Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk, and negotiations had progressed rapidly as both agreed to a 60/40 split in favour of ‘the Gypsy King’. The bout was slated for December 3.

FootballContracts were sent out to both parties, but the pair traded blame with each other, with the fight now officially called off.
Sports Brief earlier reported that British-Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua was present at the Best of Africa Awards and was also an award recipient.
This comes less than two months after the two-time former world heavyweight champion lost his rematch with Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
