Helenius on the other hand was content to box on the front foot while being wary of Wilder's authority in the ring.

Unfortunately for him, a right hand from Wilder dumped him on the canvas with seconds of the first round remaining as the fight was immediately waved off.

"It's amazing to be back in Brooklyn. This arena is like a second home to me," said Wilder via Mirror.
"It feels so good to be back; when I came off the plane and set my foot on the ground I felt great energy. I felt the love and I felt the support and that's all I needed. I knew it was going to be a great night for me and it was.
"I was trying to keep my distance because Robert has a heart of a champion and I knew what he was capable of. I didn't take him for granted and I looked him in the eyes and he really wanted it. When they fight Deontay Wilder they come with their A++ game," he ended.

Wilder congratulates Fury after trilogy defeat

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Deontay Wilder has finally broken his silence following his trilogy defeat against British boxer Tyson Fury with the American congratulating his opponent for the victory.

The thoughts of all Deontay Wilder fans was that the American would be able revenge in the trilogy fight, but Tyson Fury was so hard for him in Las Vegas.

When the fight got to the fourth round, Deontay Wilder knocked Tyson Fury down two times with the hope that the Bronze Bomber would be able to win, but the Brit staged a stunning comeback and triumphed.
