Earlier, Sports Brief reported the winner of the 2022 GOtv Boxing Night 26 is set to receive much more money in the 2022 edition of the GOtv Boxing Night 26 scheduled to take place in Lagos, Nigeria.
The competition which is scheduled for 20th August at the Molade Okoya-Thomas Indoor Sports Hall of Teslim Balogun Stadium will see two boxers share the sum of ₦1.5million.
This is in addition to the traditional cash prize of ₦1million for the winner while the runner-up, a new will go home with ₦500,000 as eight bouts are expected to take place in this year’s competition.
