Having appeared to have enjoyed his meal at the restaurant, the 42-year-old decided to find his way to the kitchen and show appreciation to the cooks by handing them close $300 each.
An insider told Page Six : "He personally thanked everyone. The cooks were ecstatic and thankful!"
Catch describes itself on its website as: "The go-to dining destination for celebrities from Los Angeles to New York City, Catch is the only location to bring epic renditions of Asian-influenced sushi, seafood and steak to The Strip."
A 2.5lb Cantonese lobster at the restaurant will set a patron back approximately KSh 13,000 (£91), or if you prefer a steak, there are American Wagyu Tomahawk steaks available for approximately KSh 20,000 (£153).
In other news, Mayweather seems to have abandoned plans to take part in an exhibition fight in China in order to negotiate a rematch with Manny Pacquiao.
Hong Kong's DEF Promotions director Jay Lau told The Sun: "Mayweather came two times to Hong Kong, he spoke with my son Jayson and we had communications but now he is focusing [on] the Pacquiao rematch. We were talking about an exhibition in China, a big event but not a recorded professional boxing fight. Something like Mayweather vs Tenshin in Japan.
