Floyd Mayweather Spotted Dishing out $100 Notes to Children Selling Sweets at Basketball Game

Floyd Mayweather was recently spotted engaging in a remarkable gesture during an NBA as he handed over $100 bills to kids selling sweets before the game.

The 44-year old was in attendance of the LA Lakers game against Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, February 9.

The Bucks recorded a fourth straight victory defeating Lakers 116-131 at the Crypto.com Arena to pile more pressure on Miami Heat, who currently sit top of the table.

While the result might have been disappointing for the Lakers, some young children in the stadium certainly left the area with smiles on their faces after meeting Mayweather before the match.

Footage acquired by TMZ shows the undefeated former welterweight saying something to the effect of "I'm all about giving back to the kids," before proceeding to hand over cash to the young entrepreneurs.

Reports claim Mayweather gave out notes amounting to $400 or $500.

Mayweather then turns to the person filming his charitable deed to say, "The kids out here selling candy, they ain't doing nothing wrong."

He also promised to keep giving out more money whenever he attends a Lakers game in the future.

Mayweather vs Money Kicks

Mayweather might have numerous problems in his life, but money is certainly not one of them.

According to Marca, the retired boxer has an estimated net worth of about $450m (£330m).

Years after retirement, Mayweather has been engaging in high-profile exhibition fights with fellow celebrities, which have made him millions along the way.

He recently took on Logan Paul in June 2021 and was preparing for another exhibition fight, this time coming up against Reshad Belhasa, another popular YouTube star, popularly known as Money Kicks.

However, Belhasa pulled out of the fight in the last minute, after the two parties failed to agree on a contract.
