Per Marca, he has agreed to join Spanish giants Real Madrid in the summer when he runs down his Paris Saint-Germain contract, having chosen not to renew.
Mbappe accepts Bolt's challenge
Speaking in an interview at the Laureus World Sports Awards held in Madrid last month, the legendary sprinter, Bolt, claimed he would love to race against the PSG star.
The 2018 World Cup winner has responded and accepts the challenge whenever there is time, though he doesn't fancy his chances against the world record holder.
He made this known at a promotional event organised by Nike and his foundation, as quoted by RMC Sports.
“It would be fun, why not one day if we both have the time, do something nice. I don’t expect much from the result,” he said.
Per Speed Showdown on YouTube, the footballer stands no chance against the sprinter after a simulation video showed both in a 100-metre race, in which Bolt finished in 9.58 seconds and Mbappe in 10.9 seconds.
The Manchester United fan won eight Olympic gold medals at three events before retiring in 2017.
