FootballUsain Bolt Jokes About Coming Out of Retirement After Kylian Mbappe’s Insane Offer
- Usain Bolt has become the latest star to comment on Kylian Mbappe's latest contract offer
- Mbappe has received once in a lifetime offer to earn over 700 million dollars in one year
- Paris Saint-Germain have remained adamant that he has to leave if he won't extend his contract
Kylian Mbappe's latest contract offer from Saudi Arabia has gotten not only the fans talking but even sports greats as well.
Mbappe is said to have received a staggering 776 million dollars a year salary to join Saudi Arabia giants Al Hilal this summer.
The French forward is currently interlocked in a contractual dispute with Paris Saint-Germain, who want the player to leave the club this summer or sign a new contract. Mbappe will be a free agent next year, which means PSG have to cash in right now or lose football's brightest prospect for free.
On top of the astronomical salary they have offered Mbappe, Al Hilal has also offered PSG a world record transfer fee of 332 million dollars to sign the 2018 World Cup winner, as captured by CNN.
That figure, which will total over a billion dollars should it go through, is crazy, let alone for a player with only one year in his contract remaining.
Bolt wants to unretire
Mbappe's potential salary has gotten Usain Bolt joking about coming out of retirement if he were to get a similar figure.
Bolt is the most revered sprint athlete of all time after leading an illustrious career that spans over eight years. He collected eight Olympic gold medals and 11 world gold titles, among other honours.
He retired in 2017 and to date, no one has come close to replicating his achievements on track. The Jamaican has now quipped that perhaps he could return, only if the money is right.

Antetokounmpo wants Al Hilal move
One NBA player who volunteered his services to the Saudi club following their offer to Mbappe was Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Sports Brief reported that the 'Greek Freak' joked on his Twitter post that he would gladly take the Frenchman’s place at Al Hilal.
Antetokounmpo, who recently cut his hair, tweeted: “Al Hilal you can take me. I look like Kylian Mbappe.” That drew a response from Mbappe, who replied with a dozen laughing emojis.
