Nigerian super athlete Tobi Amusan finished in second position in the 100m hurdles event at the Lausanne Diamond League on Friday night, June 30, as she continued with her brilliant form.
Puerto Rico’s Jasmine Camacho-Quinn won the race with a time of 12.40s. Amusan clocked a time of 12.47s equaling her personal best for the season.
22-year-old American track and field athlete Tia Jones came third which was a good one for the winner of the 100-meter hurdles at the 2016 USA Junior Championships in a time of 12.84 seconds.
According to the reports in Daily Post and Premium Times, these three will meet again on Sunday, July 2.
Tobi Amusan bags Master’s Degree
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Sensational Nigerian athlete, Tobi Amusan completed her master’s degree at the University of Texas El Paso in the United States.
The world record holder in the 100m hurdles captured and shared moments from her graduation ceremony, to the delight of her Instagram followers.
The 26-year-old narrated how it all started, adding that she was encouraged and inspired by a number of mentors.
