Tuks Athletics Club's Joseph Kagiso Ndlovu asked a lucky lady called Prudence hopefully watching him on television to marry him as he approached the finish line.

The banner he held up read:
"Prudence, will you marry me. [Ran 90km] for you"
This was met with huge cheers from spectators, with the commentators on SuperSport joining in, before an unfortunate break in transmission occurred.
