Speculation surrounding Lewis Hamilton's future continues to swirl as the seven-time world champion maintains his radio silence.
Hamilton has avoided media attention and remained silent on social media since the controversial Abu Dhabi F1 race in which Max Verstappen was crowned the new F1 World Champion.
Hamilton's last public appearance was in the middle of December 2021 when he was officially knighted at Windsor Castle, Formula1 confirmed. He didn't make an appearance though at the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile's (FIA) end-of-season awards a few days later.

FootballHamilton's last post on Instagram was after the qualifying session at the controversial Abu Dhabi race.
FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem said that Sir Lewis has also not responded to any of his messages but that he understands that the star driver isn't ready to talk yet, Sport24 reported.
The FIA President also commented on Hamilton's failure to attend the awards function.
"There are rules that all drivers must accept. For me, there is no particular team or driver above the respect for the integrity of the FIA. But I cannot judge until I have all the data, and the first thing on my agenda is to thoroughly analyse what happened in Abu Dhabi. In the end, we are all human, and the stress and pressure were there. I think it will all work out. You have to look more to the future than to the past."
Spanish club planning blockbuster move for embattled Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
FootballIn other international sporting news, Thursday night’s Carabao Cup semi-final fixture between Liverpool and Arsenal is under threat as Covid-19 seems to be ravaging the Anfield club, Sports Brief earlier reported.
Liverpool fear they will be unable to play this week’s game against Arsenal due to a Covid outbreak in their squad. Three first-team players including Allison, Joel Matip, and Roberto Firminho including manager Jurgen Klopp all tested positive for Covid-19 last week.
All four missed the trip to Stamford Bridge as a result. Liverpool would end up dropping points in the league after battling to a 2-2 draw against Chelsea with Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah getting both goals for the Reds who lost a two-goal lead slip.
