Ademola Lookman's immediate future is becoming a major topic across Europe and the global football community.

The Nigerian forward is drawing significant transfer interest both within and outside Europe following his exceptional season with Atalanta.

The 26-year-old capped a stellar season with the Bergamo club by scoring a brilliant hat-trick in the UEFA Europa League final, and he is now the subject of a €15 million per year offer from Saudi Pro League giant, Al Ittihad.

Additionally, the Super Eagles forward is reported to be attracting interest from several English Premier League and other clubs across Europe.

In light of this, Sports Brief highlights the potential transfer options Lookman could consider as the summer transfer window progresses.

Transfer destinations Lookman could consider

A move away from Europe?

According to transfer expert, Rudy Galetti, Saudi League giant, Al Ittihad, are keenly pursuing the Nigerian forward.

After having their initial offer rejected by Atalanta, Al Ittihad have returned with another bid for the 26-year-old and a verbal agreement with Lookman's camp could be imminent.

The Saudi Pro League side have reportedly offered Lookman a salary of €13.89 million, surpassing Victor Osimhen’s current earnings of €12.82mil with Napoli.

Lookman’s current salary at Atalanta is €2.3m per year, and if a deal goes through, it would represent a significant financial upgrade for the Super Eagles forward.

However, Al Ittihad still needs to reach an agreement with Atalanta, who value Lookman at approximately €70m.

A transfer outside Italy?

Another option Lookman could consider is moving away from the Italian Serie A but staying within Europe.

Reports suggest the Europa League final hero is attracting interest from Manchester United in the English Premier League, and Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga.

Lookman previously played in the Premier League with Everton and in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig. A return to either league could be a viable possibility.

A move within Serie A?

According to a recent report from Tutto Juve, in addition to interest from across Europe and beyond, Serie A giants, Juventus are also closely monitoring Lookman.

Football Italia also reported that the new Juventus manager, Thiago Motta, does not particularly count on Federico Chiesa, making a move away from the Allianz Stadium a possibility.

Should Chiesa transfer this summer, a move for the Nigerian forward could be on the cards.

While it remains to be seen which kit Lookman will don next season, it seems increasingly likely that he will move away from Atalanta.

Potential transfer destinations for Wilfred Ndidi

In a previous report, Sports Brief compiled a list of potential transfer destinations for Wilfred Ndidi.

The combative midfielder ended his seven-year stint with the English club, Leicester City, following the expiration of his contract.
