South African tactician Rulani Mokwena has confirmed he has a new coaching job after parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns this month.
The 37-year-old led the Brazilians to the DStv Premiership title last season and won the inaugural edition of the CAF African Football League.
Mokwena's departure came as a surprise to many, considering his status among the top managers in the South African league and the continent.
Mokwena gets new job after Sundowns exit
According to a report by the South African, Mokwena confirmed in an interview with Marawa Sports Worldwide that he would be coaching an amateur team after leaving the DStv Premiership champions.

"I am already employed, and I am going to coach Black Poison for the next few weeks," he said.
"Hopefully, I can rejuvenate myself and develop a passion for football and coaching because I have lost a little. Maybe going back to where everything started will reignite something," he added.
Mokwena discloses why he left Sundowns
In the same interview with MSW, Mokwena went on to explain why he parted ways with the Brazilians this summer despite enjoying success together.
The South African coach claimed he had been 'pushed out' of the club despite being interested in staying, having signed a new contract last year.

Football"I didn't want to leave. I have to make it clear that I didn't want to leave. My hand was forced," Mokwena stated.
Several clubs are currently monitoring Mokwena's situation, with reports claiming Wydad Casablanca have offered him a lucrative contract.
