A fan was left surprised after Sadio Mane humbly accepted his request to take a photo with him while in his car reading the Islamic scriptures, the holy Quran.

Mane was being chauffeured home by a friend in Saudi Arabia when the fan approached for a selfie.

The Senegal international did not hesitate as he allowed the man to take a photo, but while leaving he spotted Mane reading the Quran.

The excited fan praised the Al-Nassr star for his religious devotion, stating Mane is a good man.

In a video shared on social media, the man, who seems to be a worker in Saudi was spotted speaking Arabic, as he expressed his joy at meeting the football star. He said in Arabic while taking a video as well, 'look at Mane, he is reading the Quran'.

Mane has been in fine form for Al-Nassr since joining the Saudi Pro League giants last summer, helping the Knights of Najd to second place in the league with three games remaining.

The 32-year-old has scored 19 goals and delivered 11 assists across all competitions for Al-Nassr this season, per Transfermarkt.

Al-Nassr could end the season with a trophy when they face new Saudi champions Al-Hilal in the final of the King's Cup on May 31, 2024.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Sadio Mane shared his excitement after scoring in the King's Cup game between Al-Nassr FC and Al-Khaleej as the Saudi giants reached the final.

Ronaldo scored a brace on the night as the Knight of Najd progressed with a 3-1 victory at the expense of Al-Khaleej.

The Senegal forward converted from the spot after Cristiano Ronaldo unselfishly handed him the ball for Al-Nassr's second of the match.

Sports Brief also reported that Al-Nassr star, Sadio Mane received a surprise visit from a popular Senegal fan who travelled from Dakar to meet the ex-Liverpool forward in Riyadh.

The supporter, who mostly follows the national team, met Mane in the Gulf nation's capital after his regular Al-Nassr routine.

In a video shared on social media, Mane was excited to meet the fan and presented him with his club jersey. The fan sang the name of the player as he praised him in the form of appellations.
