He is one of 62 players who has been mentioned in the latest incident age-related scandal to come out of Cameroon and Africa, with one media house reporting that some were as much as 10 years older than claimed.
The country's FA - FECAFOOT - posted on X (formerly Twitter) the list of players that will no longer participate this season. Above the names, the AllezLesLions post read:
"62 players, including Nathan Douala and several other internationals, are provisionally declared ineligible by FECAFOOT for the play-offs for dual identity."
