Anthony Joshua Predicts How His Blockbuster Fight With Francis Ngannou Will End

British-Nigerian boxer, Anthony Joshua, has suggested that his blockbuster heavyweight boxing fight with Francis Ngannou could end in a knockout.

AJ made this disclosure barely four days before the much-anticipated encounter billed for Riyadh in Saudi Arabia on March 8.

Joshua who held the WBO, WBA and IBF before losing his belts to Oleksandr Usyk, has won his last three bouts.

He defeated Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, and Otto Wallin and will now face off with a former UFC champion in a 10-round heavyweight clash called ‘Knockout Chaos’.

AJ is practically expecting a different test against the Cameroonian in their non-title contest.

Ngannou produced a masterclass in his professional boxing debut last October before losing controversially to Tyson Fury.

While the former MMA superstar hopes to write his name in the history books, AJ believes he would win by knockout.

He told SkySports:

“I believe I can knock him out. Definitely. I would love to knock him out and make a statement. Physically I feel strong, feeling good.

"Strong enough to get the job done and mentally I’m in a place where I’m ready for war. I’m looking forward to the challenge.

"Mentally I don't worry so much about my opponent and look at what my opponent can bring to me and think, 'how can I overcome these challenges they present?'

"I work really hard to up my game and look forward to showing everything I've worked on."

Anthony Joshua speaks on Fury, Wilder

Sports Brief earlier reported that British boxer Joshua finally opened up on why he is yet to face Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder, two of the top heavyweight boxers.

Joshua has now come out to defend his boxing record, disclosing that he has in the past signed contracts that would see him fight both Wilder and Fury.

However, none of the planned fights has materialised, with Joshua citing reasons beyond his control.
