  • Neymar Jr recently completed his transfer to Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal
  • The Brazilian completed his record move after falling down the order at PSG
  • Neymar's new manager has now revealed some untimely news about his star

Neymar Junior stole the headlines recently after his blockbuster move to Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League.

The Brazilian's big money transfer, highlighted by astronomic earnings and crazy perks, was accompanied by a spectacular fan presentation reminiscent of that of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

Following his unveiling, Neymar was billed to make his debut for Al-Hilal against Al-Feiha last Saturday but this did not ultimately happen.

Given the comments by Neymar's new coach, Jorge Jesus, fans will have to wait an unspecified amount of time to witness the new signing in action.

Neymar's Al-Hilal debut uncertain

Following his side’s 1-1 draw against Al-Feiha, the press quizzed coach Jesus about Neymar’s availability. The Portuguese manager responded, as quoted by Marca:

"Neymar is one of the best players in the world and will contribute significantly to our team. He has a minor injury that will prevent him from participating in training for the next few days. The duration of his absence has not been determined yet and I don’t know why he was called up by the national team."

This news would disappoint Al-Hilal fans, who were eager to see the 31-year-old on the field.

However, they would perhaps take solace in the fact that the club recently completed the signing of Fulham forward, Aleksandar Mitrovic, per a report by Sky Sports.

Neymar is tipped to return in time to face Benzema’s Al-Ittihad.

Neymar's story one of unfulfilled dreams

Meanwhile, Sports Brief also reported on Neymar's journey to football fame and how the world never truly experienced the Brazilian at his optimum.

At 31 years old, the former Barcelona star is exiting European football having won only one UEFA Champions League title and no Ballon d'Or award to his name.

Thanks to wrong decisions, injuries, and even sabotage, football only caught glimpses of a player who should have stood alongside Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
