Senegal forward, Sadio Mane, has congratulated Cristiano Ronaldo for scoring the goal that sent Al-Nassr into the second round of the Arab Club Champions Cup.
With the star-studded Saudi Arabian side on the brink of elimination, the Portuguese veteran came to the rescue with a stunning header to cancel Zamalek's lead.
Mane, who came off the bench to play a role in the tournament tie, shared his excitement in celebrating the five-time Ballon d'Or winner for his match heroics.
He wrote on Twitter, translated as follows:
"A new page opens!!! Congratulations [on] your goal big man!!! On to the next round. Thank [you] Al Nassr FC fans, the support was amazing."
The former Liverpool star is hoping to hit the ground running after joining the Saudi side in the summer transfer window from Bayern Munich.
"I am really happy to be part of you guys and really excited to start with you guys. And of course, our target is to win everything and I am sure everybody is ready for it. What a team. Let's stick together and we will be successful," he said previously, per Al-Nassr's official Twitter account.
Mane left the Bundesliga giants after just one season following struggles to rediscover his form.
