FootballPitso Mosimane: Fans Believe Jingles Should Replace Frank Lampard at Chelsea
- Chelsea are having a terrible season and could finish 14th after the final games are played
- Pitso Mosimane won the Yelo League title with Al Ahli Saudi in the Saudi First Division
- Football fans believe that Chelsea could benefit from having a coach like Pitso at the helm
Imagine Pitso Mosimane coaching in the English Premier League.
Many fans want to see that, especially with Chelsea FC continuing their horrendous run of form.
Chelsea sits 12th on the Premier League table with one game to go and could finish as low as 14th at the end of the season.
Mosimane better than Lampard?
With Chelsea’s form declining under interim manager Frank Lampard, fans have claimed that the South African tactician would do a much better job. Chelsea have lost eight games with Lampard in charge and have only drawn one and won one.
Their latest defeat was a 4-1 loss at the hands of Manchester United, The Mirror reported. Mosimane, on the other hand, won another league title, this time with Al Ahli Saudi.
It was Jingles’ 19th title during his illustrious career.
Mauricio pips Mosimane to job
While many fans would love to see the South African take charge of an English side, Chelsea has already appointed a coach for next season. As noted by BBC, the club have agreed on a deal to appoint former Tottenham Hotspur coach Mauricio Pochettino as the new manager.
That hasn’t stopped fans from dreaming, and they’ve taken to social media to call for Chelsea to appoint Mosimane to turn things around.

Pitso’s team wins league title
Pitso Mosimane has done it once again.
The South African coach showed off his championship pedigree by leading Al Ahli Saudi to the Saudi First Division title, Sports Brief reported.
Al Ahli won the Yelo League title with one game to spare, thanks to their victory over Al-Qadisiyah. Al Ahli had guaranteed themselves promotion two weeks ago but also put a stamp down by winning the league.
