According to a study by C EnLigne, Etihad Stadium, the home ground of the Citizens, is the neatest in the league, while Chelsea's Stamford Bridge misses out on the top 5 cleanest stadiums.

According to the study, fans rated the 53,000-capacity stadium opened in 2002 as the cleanest and best matchday experience in the Premier League.

According to Forbes, the stadium, which was last expanded in 2015, has plans underway to expand and renovate again this year with a covered City Square fan zone and entertainment space added.

2. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Spurs may have a dusty trophy cabinet; having not won any trophies since the 2008 League Cup, but they do have one of the cleanest home grounds in the league.

The club brought down their old ground, White Hart Lane, and spent £1bn to rebuild a new Tottenham Hotspur stadium which was opened in 2019, as Sky Sports reports.

Liverpool's home ground and fortress is rated as the fourth cleanest stadium in the league by fans. The stadium was owned by city rivals Everton for seven years before the Reds took complete control in 1892, as reported by Liverpool Echo.

Newcomers Nottingham Forest's home stadium, the City Ground, is the filthiest in the Premier League, according to the study.

Brentford's GTech Community Stadium is the newest in the league, having been opened in 2020, but surprisingly is the third filthiest. Selhurst Park comes second, while Craven Cottage and St Mary's Stadium are fourth and fifth.
