"He understands how important it is to win battles, how important it is for him to turn into a killer threat and a player that is not nice," Henry said as quoted by Daily Mail.

The retired striker is arguably the best ever striker Arsenal has ever had after he found the back of the next 228 times during his time at the Emirates. He has also expressed optimism that Arsenal finally has a squad that can compete for the title.

How Arsenal vs West Ham played out

Arsenal opened up a seven-point lead at the top of the Premier League after coming from behind to beat West Ham 3-1 at the Emirates on Monday.

Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli turned the game around in the space of five second half minutes before Eddie Nketiah stepped up in the absence of Gabriel Jesus to seal all three points.

Arsene Wenger's return

Sports Brief has also reported that Arsenal folklore were treated to a beautiful sight when legendary Head Coach Arsene Wenger returned to the Emirates for the first time since his exit.

The Gunners were hosting West Ham in a London Derby as the first round of Premier League fixtures kicked in on Boxing Day.

Wenger, who left Arsenal in 2018, served as the head coach for 22 years before calling it a day. He was among the crowd as Arsenal staged a second-half comeback to beat their opponents 3-1.
