Evra fires warning to Arsenal over Saliba

According to the legendary Premier League defender, Arsenal's hopes of lifting the Premier League crown will be ended if Saliba gets injured.

The north Londoners have already lost Gabriel Jesus to an injury, with the Brazilian attacker set to spend at least three months on the sidelines.

Evra has now warned that Arsenal will be done if his fellow countryman Saliba goes the same way.

"The Premier League is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. My worry for Arsenal, even if I only want to stay positive for them, is the depth of the squad," Evra told Betfair.
"Imagine if Saliba got injured, the impact he has on the team if he was to get injured they would be done. So, they need another centre-back," he added.

Zinchenko backs Nketiah

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko has backed Eddie Nketiah to successfully fill the void left by Gabriel Jesus.

Jesus, who joined the Gunners in the summer has played a central role in the club's impressive start to the Premier League.
