The goal was crucial for the Black Stars as they held on for the victory. The West Africans are now on three points, level with Portugal at the top of the group.

Uruguay and South Korea bring up the rear in the group on one point each. Uruguay and Portugal still have to play against each other.

Ghana staff showed their mercilessness, as they took a selfie with South Korea star Heung-min Son after their game in Qatar, Sports Brief reported.

The Black Stars and South Korea put on a show in a five-goal thriller, with the former bagging the maximum points to put themselves on course for qualification for the next stage.

A clearly emotional Son did not seem in the mood for a photograph with Ghana staff, but they would not be denied apparently.

Ghana steals show with entrance

African teams certainly know how to steal the show at the World Cup. From their colourful fans to their rhythmic tunes, the continent is making everyone take notice in Qatar.

Ghana are now making headlines for their entrance before their game against South Korea, Sports Brief reported.

Black Stars players were seen playing traditional instruments and singing gospel songs before their important group stage encounter.
