Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has sent beleaguered star Cristiano Ronaldo an urgent message following his side's 1-1 draw with rivals Chelsea on Saturday evening.
Ronaldo was not part of the United contingent that took the trip to the capital for the Premier League clash staged at Stamford Bridge.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner was dropped from the first team by Ten Hag following his decision to storm out of the pitch during their clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.

And when asked if United missed Ronaldo during the Chelsea clash, Ten Hag admitted that his side's performance proved that the veteran striker still has a role to play in the team.
"Yes, always he can score a goal. He is valuable for us and we need him that’s clear," Ten Hag said as quoted by Metro UK.
"I think you see it also in this game that he can finish off that’s quite obvious," he added.
While it remains unclear how long Ronaldo will be out of the team, it is almost evident that Ten Hag could be forced to reintegrate him back into the fold.
