Phil Jones' woes at Manchester United are set to continue this season after he was reportedly kicked out of the club's dressing room to create for summer arrivals.

The English centre-back was projected to leave Old Trafford this summer after enduring a troubled spell with United plagued with injuries.

However, the 30-year-old miraculously survived the axe in a window that was marked with several departures at Old Trafford.

Despite his presence, the Englishman is unlikely to play any role at the club, with the Daily Mail reporting that he is not in the plans of Erik ten Hag.

And in a sudden twist of events, Jones has now been kicked out of Man United's Carrington dressing room following the arrival of summer signings.

It is that understood facility only accommodates no more than 24 players and has been at maximum capacity after the Red Devils signed six more players.

The development has reportedly seen Jones exiled as Ten Hag cracks the whip on deadwood players.

The Sun claims that the same fate has met third-choice left-back Brandon Williams, Teden Mengi, and fellow centre-half Axel Tuanzebe, who have been told to pack their bags and train with the under-23s.

And this summer transfer window was no different as the Premier League giants spent a little over £200 million in their transfer business.
