"We were 49 games unbeaten. They were so competitive but they were very smart people. I was getting a lot of stick as well." He told ITV Sport via Daily Mail.
"So, I was very frustrated. You're warming up and didn't play. You're annoyed you lost. I just went in quickly to the dressing room and there was some food there, I was starving.
The 2010 World Cup winner went on to add: "I took a slice of pizza and we started hearing noises. You started seeing players and Arsene Wenger everywhere.
"The first thing that occurred to me was to throw the pizza because I didn't have the power or the courage maybe to go into that fight. They were monsters in there. They were super, super big guys. Apparently, it hit Sir Alex Ferguson."

Fabregas completes shock move to Serie B side Como

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who won the World Cup in 2010, will play for Como in the Italian second division next season, Serie B announced on its official website on Monday.

The deal which takes the 35-year-old from Ligue 1 side Monaco, where he was out of contract, has yet to be announced by the club but his name appears in Serie B's section listing new certified contracts.

Fabregas, who previously played for Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea, had a frustrating season last year, not playing for Monaco's first team after September.
