Netherlands international Tyrell Malacia has reportedly jetted into Manchester for his medical ahead of his Old Trafford transfer.
Malacia could potentially now become United's first summer signing, with the Red Devils yet to complete any signing.
According to the Daily Mail, it has been a frustrating start to the transfer window for the Red Devils as they have been forced to watch a number of their rivals reinforce their squads in recent weeks.
However, the Old Trafford-based outfit are finally on the verge of getting a deal over the line, with Malacia reportedly undergoing a medical earlier on Sunday, July 3.

Man United closing in on Tyrell Malacia deal
Metro UK reports that United hijacked Lyon’s deal for Malacia last week, with the defender, reportedly, informing the Ligue 1 side that he wanted to move to join the Red Devils.
It is understood the Feyenoord star will complete the final stages of his Old Trafford deal on Monday, July 4, with the transfer to be officially announced afterwards.
The 22-year-old is expected to challenge England international Luke Shaw for a starting berth at left-back from next season.
Meanwhile, Malacia's imminent arrival could spell doom for Alex Telles who could be offloaded in the coming days.
