  • Forest are said to be willing to pay Henderson's weekly wages of £100,000-a-week for the entire 2022/23 season when he joins them on loan

Newly-promoted Premier League side, Nottingham Forest, have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Manchester United goalkeeper, Dean Henderson, on loan.

According to The Sun, the shot-stopper was stuck on the bench behind De Gea at the Theatre of Dreams last season.

However, with the 2022 World Cup on the horizon, the Red Devils look set to allow Henderson to join a team where he will be guaranteed active football as he looks to earn a spot in England's squad for the Qatar trip.

Man United reach deal with Nottingham Forest over the transfer of Henderson

The Athletic now reports that United chiefs have reached a deal with Forest for Henderson to join them temporarily ahead of next season.

The publication claims the former Championship side are willing to take care of Henderson's full £100,000-a-week wages for the entire 2022-23 campaign.

The development will come as a blow for Newcastle United who were reportedly keen to secure the services of the 25-year-old.

Newcastle are now expected to shift their attention to the transfer of Nick Pope following Burnley's relegation.

Sadio Mane set to pocket £250,000 per week at Bayern Munich

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Sadio Mane is set to have his wages more than doubled once he completes a sensational summer move to Bayern Munich.

Reports suggest the Senegal winger is set to pocket about £250,000 per week at Bayern Munich up from the £ 100,000 a week he is earning at Anfield.

Mane is believed to be inching closer to a move to the Allianz Arena and will pen a three-year deal once he seals the transfer.
