Austin 'Jay Jay' Okocha does not end to amaze football lovers even at the age of 48 after his showboating display for World Stars in an exhibition game in Dubai.

The former Nigeria international featured for a World Stars team that had former AC Milan star Clarence Seedorf, Arsenal legend Robert Pires and former World best player Kaka.

However, it was his goal in the 13-3 victory over Abraham Accords stars that grabbed the attention of every fan watching the game.

Former Arsenal midfielder Robert Pires ended the game with four goals and was voted man of the match, while Okocha got the most cheers for his flicks and tricks.

Other stars on the World team included former Brazil goalkeeper Julio Ceaser, Javier Saviola and Bacary Sagna, who played for Arsenal and Manchester City.

The exhibition game is to raise funds for charity ahead of the World Cup in Qatar later this year.

Okocha scores fabulous goal at new Senegal stadium

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Nigerian international Jay Jay Okocha was part of the football legends that graced the inauguration of the Diamniadio Olympic Stadium in Dakar, Senegal.

The Senegalese government splashed heavily on a multi-purpose stadium, which can host football, rugby and athletics and they have inaugurated it two weeks after their AFCON glory.

Reports have it that the Teranga Lions will now make the facility their new home ground as it has a capacity of 50,000. It’ll host the 2026 Summer Youth Olympics, Sports Ration say.

Samuel Eto'o insists Okocha was better than Ronaldinho

Barcelona legend Samuel Eto’o has stated that Nigeria’s Jay Jay Okocha deserves to be rated as high as Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho, Soccernet reports.

Eto’o and Ronaldinho were teammates at Spanish club Barcelona, but the Cameroon FA president believes Okocha remains one of the most gifted footballers of this generation.

Despite his exploits, Okocha never won the Africa best Player Award, but Eto’o who won the same prize four times says the Nigerian was as talented and magical as Brazilian great Ronaldinho Gaucho.
