Kenyan international Marjolen Nekesa could hardly contain her delight after she marked her debut for FC Minsk with a goal during the final of the Belarussian Women's Super Cup.
The Harambee Starlets ace signed for the Belarusian women's football team based in Minsk earlier this month from the United States.

However, the Kenyan star has not taken long to prove to her new side what she can offer.
The midfielder had a dream debut for her new side when she made her bow on Sunday, March 13, finding the back of the net in FC Minsk's 2-1 home defeat to Dinamo-BGU.
The visitors were impressive from the blow of the whistle, scoring the opener inside six minutes of action through Anna Pilipenko.
Tatyana Markushevskaya doubled Dinamo-BGU's lead in the 28th minute before Nekesa swung into action with her own in the 66th minute.
However, it was not enough to stop his side from losing as the hosts were unable to find an equaliser for the remainder of the tie to lose the final of the cup tie.

Meanwhile, Nekesa has since reacted to opening her goal account for FC Minsk on her debut.
The attacking midfielder took to social media to share the exciting news with her fans, revealing she was grateful.
"Hard luck on my debut but grateful for getting my first goal for the team," she posted on her Facebook page.

The Harambee Stars skipper was on target during the Monday clash, with Ferjani Sassi scoring a brace.
Al-Duhail are now scheduled to battle Al-Gharafa in the final of the tournament set for Friday, March 18.
